Meer Cottage sits on a private point on Wollaston Lake: 170 feet of northwest-facing shoreline, a gentle path down to the water, and views that face directly into the sunset. It sleeps 8, it runs year-round, and it's looked after by the people who own it.

We look after it ourselves and love sharing it with people who'll appreciate it. Friends and family get first pick of dates, but we're happy to hear from anyone who feels like the right fit. Booking directly with us is always the best way in.

Wollaston Lake - Meer Cottage

Where the name comes from

Meer is the Dutch word for lake. It also means more. So Meer Cottage carries both meanings at once: a lake cottage, and more of what matters. It is a small nod to Ellen's family in the Netherlands, sitting right alongside the old Canadiana pieces that already lived here before we did.

About the Owners

We're Ellen and Harrison. We found this place, fell for it, and have been making it our own ever since. The dream of having a place in nature where we can bring people together, this started on a beach in Australia in 2019. This is it.
